Number 9 Dream
After a night out with a friend, I am sleeping in a bed with Momus (each at opposite ends). When I wake up, Momus and my friend are playing computer games, and I pretend to be asleep while watching the television screen. My friend says he has to leave, and I get out of bed. My friends sister enters the room. Me and Momus flirt with her, and talk about how long my friend is taking. We all suddenly realize that he is going to steal a car, so we look out of the window towards the car park, waiting for the sound of breaking glass. Suddenly I am in a cafe in New York, high in a skyscraper and overlooking a busy road. I am on a red sofa, and Momus is with me. A ginger cat tries to sit next to us, but it can't find any room. It then moves to a window ledge next to me, and tells me that it has written a letter to the New York Times in my name, and signed it 'Captain Arthur Anderson'. I am shocked. I am awake.
